frederick stelle is a graduate of syracuse university with a b. a and m.a in architecture. he is the founding partner of stelle lomont rouhani architects. mr. stelle began his career in the office of edward larrabee barnes where he directed the renovation of the yale university old campus dormitories. In 1976 mr. stelle founded his eponymously named office in manhattan that later became the firm frederick stelle/richard gluckman architects. in 1985 he opened stelle architects on the east end of long island. mr. stelle shares is a member of the peconic chapter of the american institute of architects. since 2010 he has served on the advisory board of the syracuse university school of architecture where he has been a visiting critic. a long time conservationist, mr. stelle is a trustee of the long island chapter of the nature conservancy and on many occasion entrusted with the renovations & additions to the homes listed on these pages .
